Targeted contouring, lasting results – liposuction for a harmonious silhouette.
At Dr. Limbourg’s practice in Hanover, we offer comprehensive analysis, consultation, and treatment for all aspects of liposuction. Whether on the abdomen, hips, thighs, or other areas of the body—we assess your individual situation and develop a customized treatment plan. This also includes a real-time simulation of the postoperative results during the consultation. Our specialized physicians use state-of-the-art, minimally invasive techniques to precisely remove excess fat tissue and improve body contours.

Many people report a similar frustration: despite a healthy diet, regular exercise, and a lot of discipline, pockets of fat persist in certain areas of the body—on the stomach, hips, thighs, or chin. These so-called genetically determined fat distribution disorders can hardly be influenced—if at all—by conventional methods.
Especially when the rest of the body is slim, these stubborn fat deposits often look out of place. This is not only visually bothersome but can also have a lasting negative impact on self-esteem. In these cases, liposuction is a proven method for sculpting the silhouette—permanently, effectively, and with high precision.

Targeted removal of fat deposits for a slimmer waist and a flatter stomach.
Treating saddle bags and inner thighs for a smooth, even leg contour.
Tightening of the upper arms by removing excess fat tissue.
Reduction of a double chin and contouring of the jawline for a more youthful appearance.
Before the surgery, we conduct a detailed consultation during which we discuss your wishes and expectations and perform a thorough examination. We will explain the surgical procedure, potential risks, and the expected results.
The surgery itself is performed under general anesthesia and typically lasts 1 to 3 hours. Depending on the extent of the procedure, we remove excess fat tissue using fine cannulas. After the surgery, you will wear a compression garment for about 4 to 6 weeks to aid in healing. Full recovery may take several weeks, though swelling and bruising will subside within the first 3 weeks.
Liposuction removes fat cells in a targeted and permanent manner—they do not regrow in that area because the fat’s storage capacity is reduced as a result. Of course, fat cells remain in the rest of the body, but the contouring results in a more harmonious appearance over the long term. Even with future weight fluctuations, the new silhouette is maintained—provided a healthy lifestyle is maintained. It is important that you maintain your weight over the long term with our help.
