Dr. Werner Meyer-Gattermann has an impressive clinical career and profound surgical expertise—his areas of specialization range from breast and rhinoplasty to body lift and facelift procedures, as well as reconstructive and aesthetic surgery of the highest caliber. With a keen understanding of form, function, and aesthetics, he cares for his patients with surgical precision, experience, and genuine attention.
Dr. Meyer-Gattermann’s medical career is as diverse as it is impressive. After completing his alternative military service at a specialized neurological clinic and studying social pedagogy, his path led him to human medicine. He earned his medical degree at Freie Universität Berlin and received his doctorate in 1995 in the field of laser surgery.
He completed his residency in plastic and aesthetic surgery in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Hospital am Urban in Berlin under Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. Bruck—with a special focus on reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, and the care of children and adults with severe burn injuries. This formative period laid the foundation for his comprehensive expertise in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
This was followed by positions as a senior physician at the Evangelische Elisabeth Hospital in Trier and as a consulting physician at the Collegium Clinic in Hanover. From 2002 to 2008, Dr. Meyer-Gattermann served as chief physician at the Mang Medical One Private Clinic for Aesthetic Surgery. He subsequently ran his own successful practice for plastic and aesthetic surgery in Hanover for many years. Today, he brings his many years of experience and surgical expertise to the Dr. Limbourg practice.
He has always had a particular interest in the full spectrum of aesthetic surgery—especially breast surgery, rhinoplasty, and facial surgery. He gained additional expertise through his work in laser therapy and through close collaboration with renowned specialists such as Dr. Witzel and Prof. Bruck.
